McConnell Fleischner Houghtaling Attorneys Named Best Lawyers In America®

November 13th, 2012

Michael T. McConnell, Cecelia “Cindy” A. Fleischner, Walter N. Houghtaling and Traci L. Van Pelt, partners of Denver-based firm McConnell Fleischner Houghtaling, LLC, were recently selected by their peers for inclusion to the list of 2013 Best Lawyers in America® (Copyright 2012 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, SC).

Fleischner was also named the 2013 Denver Legal Malpractice Law – Defendants “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers®.  Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year.”  Best Lawyers® compiles its list of outstanding lawyers by conducting exhaustive surveys of thousands of leading lawyers who confidentially evaluate their peers.  Those honored as “Lawyer of the Year” are selected because they receive high ratings from their peers and have earned a high level of respect among other leading lawyers in their community for their abilities, professionalism and integrity.

McConnell Fleischner Houghtaling was recently ranked one of Colorado’s leading firms by U.S. News/Best Lawyers®.  The firm received first-tier “Best Law Firm” rankings for Legal Malpractice Law – Defendants and Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants.

This ranking is based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in the field, and a review of additional information provided by the law firm as part of the formal submission process.  Clients are asked to rank firms based on expertise, responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, civility, and whether they would refer another client to the firm.
